Where Are We Going?
Wild Hare has archived tens-of-thousands of Data General documentation and other information to help support museums and collectors world-wide restore, run and maintain DG hardware and software. While there are many thousands more documents that will be added, we will shift There will be a shift during 2026 to providing more general information for restoring and running Data General systems, along with displaying more general DG company information.
Software
Nova, Eclipse and MV Emulators
* The emulators are now separated into individule executable files for Nova, Eclipse and MV
* New features have been added to enhance program development, including:
. DG-compatible LOAD/SAVE { ABSOLUTE | MEMORY } functions
. New "native" RDOS mode to run DG software from Windows and *IX command lines
Web-based Nova Emulator
* Expanded range of disk drives supported
* Magnetic tape drives supported
* Extend ASCII file transfer options (NUL, RUB, NL, CR, FF, LF after CR, CRLF swap,?)
* Enhanced loading and saving of user files in DG binary format
* Improved compatibility with SimH and Wild Hare emulators
* Updated, simplified user interface
