Projects

Hardware, software and other projects for Data General systems will eventually be introduced on this page. This first step presents the stand-alone "Spacewar!" program created by Freddie White in 1977. A modified version of this program was demonstrated on a Nova at Wild Hare Computer System's "Nova At 50 Celebration" in 2018. It was presented as an homage to the very first Nova Spacewar! program which written by Henry Burkhard III and demonstrated at the Fall Joint Computer Conference (FJCC) in 1968.
